Are there any plans to integrate with Visual Studio .NET or MonoDevelop?

In the long run, yes. In the meantime, there are syntax highlighting plugins being developed for TextMate and Smultron. If you are able to make a syntax highlighting plugin for your favourite text editor or IDE, let us know and we can link to it.

What causes the error where "Wildcat.Cobol.References" is unable to be loaded?

Some of the older binary distributions had this file missing. If you download a newer version or re-compile from source, everything will be okay.
